The Spiritual Martial Arts Code of Conduct, known as Bushido, heralds that
the true warrior must hold loyalty, courage, veracity, compassion,
honor and chivalry above all else.... A Bushido practioner must also
cultivate Artfulness, Velocity, Potency and Patience.

    An appreciation of and respect for life is also imperative, as it adds
balance and strong philosophical / spiritual passions to the body / mind /
spirit / economic character of the warrior.

    He or She is baneful in combat and yet, ever so gentle with and
safeguarding of.... children and the weak.
